I’m a learner, designer, developer, thinker, builder, traveler, & dreamer.

My academic passion lies at the crossroads between the power of big data and the ingenuity of the human mind. I believe that building technology that augments the way we think and learn is paramount within an increasingly digital world.

I’m currently a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, in Washington, DC. In my free time, I love to cook, write, exercise, travel, play piano, and learn languages.

Designed and developed a web-text highlighting seven bespoke, immersive, and interactive data visualizations in the style of W.E.B. Du Bois’s work. Conducted at the University of Arizona’s Center for Digital Humanities in partnership with Howard University.

Published in Kairos (Fall 2025), and won the Michelle Kendrick Award for Outstanding Digital Production/Scholarship at Computers & Writing 2026.

### Mixedify — your Spotify mixtape

*Jul 2023 — Present · Creator, designer, developer*

Designed and developed a web app that visualizes a Spotify user’s most-listened songs as an interactive mixtape within a retro aesthetic. Used Spotify’s Web API and recommendations engine to visualize listener data and recommend new songs based on a user’s recent music taste.

Leveraged iterative design and creative data visualization techniques to deliver a cohesive user interface and intuitive user experience.

### Hello, Black World: Du Bois, Data, and a Visual Reflection of the Black Past and Present

### Du Bois, digitized: Augmenting the humanities through immersive data visualization

My Honors Thesis explores the pioneering work of W.E.B. Du Bois in the field of data visualization. I argue that just as Du Bois’ distinctive visual grammar revolutionized data-driven storytelling, so too does the advent of immersive data visualization present a new frontier of pedagogy and an opportunity to augment the way we teach the humanities.
